The Exposibram 2022 Fair, Held by Ibram in Minas Gerais, Will Feature Dutch Mining Companies That Form the DTTD Cluster to Present Viable and Safe Solutions for Dams in the Sector.
Held by the Brazilian Mining Institute, Ibram, the Exposibram 2022 event, which will take place from September 12 to 15, 2022, in Minas Gerais, will showcase several presentations of new technologies and innovations for the Brazilian mineral sector. Among them are the dam safety solutions that will be displayed by the Dutch companies that form the DTTD Cluster, which could be loosely translated as Dutch Technical Team for Dam Safety, aiming for better quality in mining operations.
Exposibram 2022 Will Feature Participation from DTTD Cluster Companies to Present New Dam Safety Solutions in Mining
After various accidents in the mineral sector involving dams and the rise of discussions regarding safety in operations, the Exposibram 2022 event will feature a series of new solutions and technologies for this segment.
The fair will take place at Expominas during September and will welcome companies from around the world in the capital of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, for the sharing of knowledge in the mining sector, including safety techniques.

After China, it’s now the turn of the USA to ‘secure’ a share of Brazil’s natural resources: the country buys critical rare earths for R$ 3 billion and enters the center of the global technology dispute.

Rare earths are in everything, from cell phones to bullet trains, and what almost no one realizes is why they have become the target of such a delicate global war.

Historic bankruptcy of Centauro shocks the market, and the century-old company puts more than 500,000 products, machines, and complete infrastructure up for online auction.

Brazil extracts 26.3 million tons of ore from what was previously treated as waste, transforming residues into wealth, producing over 3 million tons of sand, and demonstrating how national mining is relearning to generate value.
Among the main participants, the Dutch companies of the DTTD Cluster are the most anticipated, as they have been conducting missions in Brazil to identify issues in waste operations and help address them, possessing strong experience in the safety segment of dam operations both in Brazil and worldwide.
The DTTD Cluster is made up of the companies Antea Group, Arenal, Trisoplast, Rohr-Idreco, InTech, and Van Sonsbeek Hulst, and will present new solutions to ensure greater safety in the sector.
Thus, Hilton Lucio, CEO of Antea Group in Brazil, commented on Exposibram 2022 and said: “At the fair, we will meet again with the leaders of the major mining players, especially from Minas Gerais, to deepen the discussions we are already having. Our idea is for these players to test the technologies and evaluate those that can be integrated into their processes. The companies we are in contact with believe in our work, and some are already implementing our solutions at their sites. This makes us very proud and optimistic for the future. These are solutions for monitoring, waterproofing, dredging, water resource management, and a series of other initiatives.”
Antea Group Is the Highlight of the Exposibram 2022 Event and Will Contribute Environmental Solutions for the Mining Sector in the Country
Among the companies that make up the DTTD Cluster, the Dutch Antea Group will be the highlight during the presentations focused on the environment during Exposibram 2022, aiming to draw attention to the minimization of environmental impacts in operations.
Hilton Lucio recalled that the company opened its portfolio in Brazil during the pandemic and hopes to build new ties during the event in Belo Horizonte.
Antea Group has nearly 100 operating bases worldwide and currently leads two major mining projects in Minas Gerais, which together generate a turnover of R$ 6 million and employ 20 people.
The growth expectations in the mining market with a focus on dam safety are not limited to the company, as the DTTD Cluster itself has two new members, Royal Eijkelkamp and Cohere Consultant.
Thus, the Exposibram 2022 fair will be essential not only to ensure new debates about dam safety and solutions in mining but also to enable the expansion of the presence of the DTTD Cluster and other Dutch companies in the national market over the coming years.
