The Federal Highway Police (PRF) announced a much-anticipated announcement awaited by many candidates. So far, 1,448 approved candidates have been appointed, with a process that took place between October and December 2021. New Certification On The Horizon With 5,000 Vacancies
Another piece of information that deserves attention is the possibility of a new certification soon. The PRF sent an official letter to the Ministry of Justice (MJSP) requesting new public exams. In this document, 4,902 positions were requested, aiming to reach a total of 18,000 police officers in the PRF’s effective framework. Additionally, there was a request for a public exam focused on the administrative area, with 219 positions allocated for the Administrative Agent role.
It is important to mention that in 2022, the corporation had sent a request to the Ministry of Justice requesting authorization for 5,000 vacancies. Although the PRF released an official note classifying as “false” the information about the realization of a new exam, the advisory to Estratégia confirmed the request. There Is No Maximum Age to participate in the Federal Highway Police exam, there is only a minimum age, which is 18 years. The only limitation that must be respected is that of mandatory retirement.

Additionally, it is necessary to have a National Driver’s License or permission to drive motor vehicles in the “B” category, at a minimum.
