The Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro Published New Announcement (No. 02/2023) in the Official Gazette of the Union on January 18, Containing the Announcement for the Opening of the UFRRJ 2023 Competition Aimed at Filling 5 Positions in the Administrative Area for Intermediate Positions/Technical Functions of the Institution.

The positions for the UFRRJ 2023 Competition are: Agricultural Technician, Accounting Technician, and Information Technician. The competition is organized by PROGEP/UFRRJ, and applications will open on January 30 on the university’s website.

Accounting Technician (2) – Requires vocational high school or complete high school and technical course;

Salary of the UFRRJ 2023 Competition

The salary offered by the university to new employees is R$ 2,446.96, plus a meal allowance of R$ 458.00, benefits such as transportation voucher, health plan reimbursement, childcare assistance of R$ 321.00, and benefits provided for in the career plan for educational administrative technicians.

UFRRJ Announcement – Applications

Applications must be made online at the electronic address servicecos.ufrrj.br/concursos, from 10 am on January 30, 2023, to 12 pm on March 1, 2023. An application fee of R$ 85.00 will be charged. The competition will consist of an objective test of 60 questions, including:

Agricultural Technician and Accounting Technician

· 10 questions of Portuguese;

· 10 questions of computer science;

· 10 questions of legislation;

· 30 questions of specific knowledge.

Information Technology Technician

· 10 questions of Portuguese;

· 10 questions of logical reasoning;

· 10 questions of legislation;

· 30 questions of specific knowledge.

The written test will be held on May 7, 2023, from 1 pm to 5 pm, at the Seropédica-RJ campus. The date, time, and location of the exam will be provided on the confirmation card, available at the electronic address servicecos.ufrrj.br/concursos. The official answers will be published on the first business day after the objective test and will be available for the competition on the notice board located in the Central Pavilion/UFRRJ, Room 101 – Competitions Department, Seropédica Campus, and at the electronic address of Seropédica Campus.

The validity period of the UFRRJ 2023 Competition is two years, counted from the final result of the approval, which may be extended once for an equal period. This is yet another public competition planned now for 2023 with an eye on filling vacancies that have been opened in recent years, being a great opportunity for those seeking a solid job with guaranteed payments and various benefits.
