Ministry of the Environment

In recent months, the authorization for the new public competition of the Ministry of the Environment (MMA) was published in the Official Gazette. According to the document, 98 immediate vacancies are being made available for the position of Environmental Analyst, which requires higher education.

Now the next step will be forming a commission, as well as choosing and hiring a committee to conduct the exam. According to MMA, the initial salary offered in the notice will be R$ 9,475.72, already taking into account the linear adjustment of 9% and the food allowance of R$ 658.

The public competition offers 138 immediate vacancies and creates a reserve list. The opportunities are for the positions of Technician and Analyst, at the secondary and higher levels, distributed among general competition, black or brown people, and people with disabilities, covering the entire country.

Brazilian Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA)

IBAMA recently announced new notices with temporary vacancies for its PSS IBAMA. The opportunities offer salaries of up to R$ 5,200. There are 198 vacancies available for positions such as Brigade Supervisor, Squadron Leader, Firefighters, and Brigade Chief. The institution requires candidates to have secondary education and literacy.

Those who are approved will be assigned to the states of Pernambuco and Mato Grosso. Applications can be made until July 1, according to the period established for each position.

Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation

Authorization for a new competition for the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) with 814 higher education vacancies was recently published.

The opportunities are for positions such as Science and Technology Analyst (296), Technologist (265), and Researcher (253). The deadline for publishing the notice for the public competition is up to 6 months, that is, until October. But it seems that the document should be published sooner. This is because the Government’s forecast is to start appointments as early as November.

It is worth noting that a 9% salary adjustment for federal executive servers has been sanctioned. Thus, the remuneration for ANM will be: R$ 18,310.34 for Researcher, R$ 14,953.50 for Technologist, R$ 8,825.98 for Technician and Assistant in Science and Technology, and R$ 14,953.50 for Analyst in Science and Technology.

The last selection process of the agency took place in 2012, organized by Cebraspe, with an offer of 551 vacancies for secondary and higher education. The initial remuneration at that time ranged from R$ 2,705.38 to R$ 9,157.15.
