Open to the Public and with Affordable Prices – Starting at R$ 15 -, the Event Brings Together Executives and Innovation Experts from All Over Brazil in Panels, Workshops, and Hackathons
São Paulo, September 13, 2023 – The 30th edition of the SAE BRASIL International Mobility Congress and Exhibition will take place on October 10 and 11 at the PRO MAGNO event center. Inspired by the life and innovations of Santos Dumont, the SAE BRASIL Congress has the theme “Driven by Innovation: We Are the Next Generation of Mobility” and will feature leaders from industry, academia, and government, as well as experts in various fields related to mobility themes.
For the 2023 edition, Francisco Gomes Neto, CEO of Embraer, is the President of the Congress. “It is a tremendous satisfaction to be able to contribute to this event that brings together companies from different modes of transportation focused on sharing innovations and trends in the new era of sustainable mobility. This year, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Alberto Santos Dumont, the inspiring environment of the SAE BRASIL Congress makes us even prouder of the inventions that have entered history and encourages us to reflect on the transformations necessary for the future of society,” he explains.
“We have reached the 30th edition of the SAE BRASIL Congress, an important milestone that demonstrates the relevance of the entity in the Brazilian mobility ecosystem. For decades, we have promoted the generation and dissemination of knowledge and the training of professionals throughout the mobility chain. Especially at a time when technologies are exponentially accelerating the efficiency of how we move things and people, promoting an impartial debate about the paths to sustainable mobility is crucial to maximize benefits to society. At the 2023 Congress, we have an excellent opportunity to make connections and explore opportunities for Brazil to play a central role in the mobility of the future,” highlights the President of SAE BRASIL, André Gasparotti.

An important figure that will represent the theme of the Congress is Sofia, born in 2006, with the dream of flying planes and who, after participating in a student program at SAE BRASIL, achieved her goal. Her journey continues until the year 2050, when she already enjoys an established career in aviation. “Sofia represents the new generation of professionals who will transform mobility in the near future. A generation trained to solve problems quickly and practically, based on the same principles as the SAE BRASIL Student Programs. And that’s exactly why the theme chosen for this special edition of the Congress is ‘We Are the Next Generation of Mobility’,” explains Gasparotti.
With an expectation of receiving 3,000 visitors over the two days of the event, the SAE BRASIL Congress will bring important and relevant discussions for the future of mobility, covering sectors such as automotive, aerospace, agribusiness, waterways, education, railways, among others.
In addition, the event will offer various workshops aimed at promoting knowledge and professional development for students. One of these is Jump Start, a competition in Hackathon/Ideathon style, using agile methodologies and Design Thinking, developing the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Mobility.” This competition starts five days before the Congress and will feature pitch presentations during the event. Additionally, forums will be held to present the competition and the student program offered by SAE BRASIL.
Another unmissable attraction is the Technology Showcase, which focuses on generating new business, with exhibiting companies presenting cutting-edge solutions and the latest technological launches that are revolutionizing the mobility market.
Registration is already open and can be made through the official site of the SAE BRASIL Congress. The schedule of lectures and debates will be announced soon and will be available through the Congress app – download it from your mobile app store -, as well as the ability to ask questions to speakers and participate in polls.
