CPFL Has Openings for Free Courses to Train New Electricians. Applications Are Open Until September 5, and the Training Will Last 396 Hours.
There are areas that everyone knows, but do not reflect on the training process, such as being an electrician. Many people are unaware, but it is possible to attend schools focused exclusively on this sector. Some of these courses are also offered by energy companies aiming to meet future demands. Today, CPFL Energia Piratininga has various openings for free courses for those who wish to participate in the Electricians’ School.
Requirements Required by CPFL Energia
On Monday (15), CPFL Piratininga announced the opening of registrations for new mixed classes to compose the Electricians’ School in the region. The electrician course provides training for 16 people and new registrations will be open until September 5.
Those who wish to participate in the initiative must be at least 19 years old and have completed elementary school. The company requires candidates to have a National Driver’s License (CNH) in category B. This license must be definitive and valid.

The electrician course provided by CPFL Energia aims to develop and maintain the proper and safe functioning of medium and low voltage electricity distribution networks, public lighting structures, and develop technical commercial services following specific safety, technical, quality, and environmental standards. The electrician course will cover topics such as internet, word processing, communication, interpersonal relationships, comprehension techniques, reporting, among others.
Registrations for the Free CPFL Energia Courses
Those who meet all the requirements set by CPFL must register directly online through an online form.
On the page, it is possible to find various information about the initiative and immediately after the questions of the questionnaire that must be answered. Two questions are essential for registration in the free courses.
The first explains that the course does not guarantee a position in the CPFL Group, as they only provide training. Another point explains that the call for the electrician course will occur via the candidate’s email. Therefore, those who do not receive an email will be automatically disqualified from the selection process.
Those interested in understanding how the student selection process for the course will take place should know that there will be four stages of exams in the process, and each is eliminatory, depending on the results. Thus, the first stage is the Online Interview. Following that, there will be a psychological test also conducted online. There will be in-person tests, including a practical height test and medical evaluation of the candidates.
In-Person and Online Classes
The electrician course classes will be conducted in two ways. The first will be online, lasting 88 hours.
However, there will also be an in-person mode, which will last 308 hours. Thus, the training will take place at the CPFL Training Center in Cubatão from Monday to Friday, from 6 PM to 10 PM.
The location is situated at Rua São Paulo, nº 555, in the Jardim Francisco neighborhood in Cubatão (SP). CPFL is the second-largest distributor by volume of energy sold, with a 14% share in the Brazilian market, serving around 10 million customers in 687 municipalities. The company has 4,385 MW of installed capacity, making it the third-largest private generator in Brazil, operating in hydropower, wind, solar, and biomass sources.
