The National Service for Industrial Learning (SENAI RJ) published the 2nd Centralized Notice of Free Courses 2025, offering 10,420 completely free slots in courses for professional qualification. The initiative aims to train low-income individuals in various industrial and technical areas, promoting continuing education, professional training, and insertion in the job market. The courses are aimed at residents of the state of Rio de Janeiro and are offered in various formats, including in-person, blended, and distance (online).
The free courses at Senai primarily aim to promote the development of technical skills aligned with the needs of the industrial sector and the job market.
The workload varies according to the course, ranging from 160 to 600 hours, and the methodology involves different types of activities, such as practical and theoretical classes, forums, tutoring, seminars and in-person or online assessments, depending on the format. The offered modalities are:

10.4 Thousand Slots Are Distributed Among Diverse SENAI Units
More than 10,000 slots are distributed among various SENAI RJ units, such as Angra dos Reis, Barra do Piraí, Barra Mansa, Benfica, Campos, Caxias, Friburgo, Itaguaí, Itaperuna, Jacarepaguá, Laranjeiras, and many others.
Each unit offers different free courses according to local demand, with classes in the morning, afternoon, and evening, between May and August 2025.
Selection Process
The slots are exclusive for low-income individuals, according to the criteria of the SENAI Regulations. The selection will be made by order of registration and submission of documentation in person, without any exams.
The notice provides special assistance for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), with the possibility of diagnostic interviews and accessibility adaptations, although there is no specific reservation of slots for this group.
Requirements to Participate
To register, the candidate must prove a family income per capita of up to 1.5 minimum wage, in addition to meeting the minimum age and education level compatible with the chosen course.
It is essential to present personal documents with photo and CPF, proof of education and self-declaration of low income.
For online courses, it is necessary to have access to a computer or laptop with quality internet. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian during registration.
