DAF Trucks Arrives Strong at the 24th Edition of Fenatran, Promising to Change the Game in the Construction, Mining, and Timber Sectors! The company, which has already consolidated its presence in Brazil, presents at the fair, the largest road transport event in Latin America, held at São Paulo Expo from November 4 to 8, a new line of vehicles that promises to meet the demands of these segments with precision and robustness.

At the center of attention is the highly anticipated DAF Vocational Line, which expands the CF family with vehicles specialized for off-road operations. This launch from DAF Trucks marks the brand’s definitive entry into the mining and construction sectors, with models designed specifically to tackle uneven terrain and withstand severe conditions.

The New DAF Vocational Line

During Fenatran, DAF Trucks presented the CF Mining, the CF Construction, and the CF Forestry, each developed for a strategic sector. The CF Mining, with 6×4 and 8×4 configurations and PACCAR MX-13 engine, is aimed at intensive operations in mines, where strength and durability are crucial.

The CF Construction, equipped with the PACCAR PX-7 engine, arrives with the 6×4 configuration, ideal for civil construction and heavy works. Finally, the CF Forestry, also featuring the MX-13 engine and 6×4 configuration, meets the demands of the timber sector, ensuring power for heavy loads and long distances.

And the news doesn’t stop there! DAF Trucks also announced the launch of the CF Highway Tractor in 2025, which will have 4×2 and 6×2 configurations and will be equipped with the PACCAR PX-9 engine. This model promises to expand DAF’s activities in the road transport sector.

Investment in Expansion and Quality in After-Sales

With a solid growth strategy, DAF Trucks ends the year with positive numbers and ambitious expansion plans. Since its arrival in Brazil in 2013, DAF has established itself as one of the top five manufacturers in the sector, reinforcing its network of dealers and enhancing after-sales service.

The goal is to reach 75 service points by the end of 2024, expanding the assistance network to support growing demand, especially in the construction and mining sectors.

To facilitate the maintenance of large fleets, DAF launched the DAF Multi-Support Ultra, a package that allows efficient cost control through a fixed monthly fee based on mileage. In addition, DAF Trucks also offers the DAF Mobile Workshop, a preventive and corrective maintenance service on-site, tailored to the specific needs of clients in the construction and mining sectors.

Sustainability and Innovation: Electric Trucks and Hydrogen

The commitment to a sustainable future was also highlighted at the DAF Trucks stand. The company is investing in electric trucks, with an impressive range of up to 500 km, in addition to testing hybrid vehicles and developing fuel cell engines focused on hydrogen. These innovations show that DAF Trucks is not only looking at the present of the construction and mining sectors but also at a future with zero emissions.
