Recently, the Center of Recife Gained a New Enterprise That Has the Capacity to Boost the Local Economy

Datamétrica, a call center company, invested R$ 20 million in a seven-story building in the Santo Antônio neighborhood, in the Center of Recife. With the investment, two thousand job positions will be created, with 1,200 immediate jobs and another 800 by the end of the year. The new Datamétrica unit, which promises to boost the local economy, solidifies the center of the Pernambuco capital as a destination for investors.

According to the Recentro program from the Recife City Hall, the new Datamétrica operation positively contributes to the revitalization and urban regeneration efforts in the area, which aim to develop the economic, architectural, historical, and cultural potential of the neighborhoods of Recife, São José, and Santo Antônio. Recentro offers tax incentives for entrepreneurs in these areas and is based on four strategic pillars developed by the Recife City Hall: Live Well; Live the Opportunities; Live the City; Integrated and Digital Management.

The New Datamétrica Enterprise Will Operate 24 Hours a Day, Seven Days a Week and Will Serve a New Contract with Banco do Brasil, Utilizing 535 Service Positions

The Recife Secretary of Labor and Professional Qualification and Datamétrica have partnered to hire personnel through the Go Recife Platform for the call center operator positions. In the coming months, the workforce will reach a total of two thousand direct jobs.

The Datamétrica building, which was previously vacant and ready for revitalization, will be located at Rua da Carioca, 72. As part of the project, the mayor of Recife, João Campos, visited the construction site and highlighted the difference that the new enterprise will make in the region. According to him, “by the end of the year, there will be 2,000 people passing through daily, stimulating the opening of various other commercial and service activities.”

It is worth noting that in the first quarter of 2023, the city of Recife was one of the top cities generating new jobs, according to data from the General Registry of Employed and Unemployed (CAGED), released last week. During the first three months of the year, Recife accumulated a positive balance of 3,317 new job positions, reaching a total stock of 532,593 active links in March. In Brazil, the city ranked tenth among those that generated the most new formal job links during the period.

Datamétrica Is a Company with 27 Years in the Market and Has Seven Operational Units, Three in Recife, Two in Olinda, One in Bahia, and Another in Rio de Janeiro

Currently, the company has over 2,500 workstations, 3,400 employees, and 120,000 clients. The company also conducts more than 3.5 million atendimentos per month and holds the Best Call Center and Best Contact Center for Small and Medium Operations awards.

The arrival of Datamétrica to the Center of Recife is seen as an important incentive for the economic development of the region, as it promotes job creation and boosts the local economy. With the offer of over a thousand job vacancies, the enterprise solidifies the center of the Pernambuco capital as a destination for investors and brings opportunities for young people seeking their first job.
