Company announces changes in its leadership for next year with a focus on growth and governance
Gobrax, a pioneer in reducing fuel costs in fleets, will have a new CEO from January 2024. Duani Reis will take on the role. The executive has extensive experience in the connected vehicle and transportation technology market. Changes in leadership are focused on the company's growth and governance.
Created in 2015 by Thiago Bona and Rafael Sabini, Gobrax serves more than 1.000 carriers and shippers, with a team of 100 employees. “Our goal is to save 1 billion liters of diesel by 2030 and that is why we are growing and putting together a strong team”, says Thiago Bona, co-founder of Gobrax, who will now dedicate himself to the company’s strategy and future.
Duani Reis, who has successful stints at Michelin Connected Fleet and Opentech on his resume, will bring his experience to further drive Gobrax's growth. “Gobrax stood out for creating an innovative, plug and play solution, where the driver himself is encouraged to drive more efficiently and safely. This makes all the difference”, comments Duani Reis.

Sustainable Logistics
Commitment to the ESG agenda has been a priority for companies around the world. In transport it is no different. More than 60% of transport in Brazil occurs via highways, which means that diesel represents the highest cost in the operation.
According to IPEA, the transport sector accounts for around 20% of global CO² emissions – one of the main gases causing the greenhouse effect –, without considering the emission of other gases that are also harmful to the environment.
Currently, it is possible to combine data from various sources to obtain valuable information and contribute to the journey of savings, safety and control of vehicle emissions in road freight transport.
