Company Announces Leadership Changes for Next Year With Focus on Growth and Governance
Gobrax, a pioneer in reducing fuel costs in fleets, will have a new CEO starting January 2024. Duani Reis will take on the position. The executive has extensive experience in the connected vehicle market and transportation technologies. The leadership changes focus on the company’s growth and governance.
Founded in 2015 by Thiago Bona and Rafael Sabini, Gobrax serves more than 1,000 carriers and shippers, with a team of 100 employees. “Our goal is to save 1 billion liters of diesel by 2030, and that’s why we are growing and assembling a strong team,” says Thiago Bona, co-founder of Gobrax, who will dedicate himself to the strategy and future of the company.
Duani Reis, who has a successful track record with Michelin Connected Fleet and Opentech, will bring his experience to further drive Gobrax’s growth. “Gobrax stands out for creating an innovative, plug-and-play solution where the driver is encouraged to drive more efficiently and safely. That makes all the difference,” comments Duani Reis.

Sustainable Logistics
Commitment to the ESG agenda has been a priority for companies worldwide. Transportation is no different. More than 60% of transportation in Brazil occurs on highways, which makes diesel the largest cost in operation.
According to IPEA, the transportation sector accounts for around 20% of global CO2 emissions – one of the main greenhouse gases – not considering emissions of other gases that are also harmful to the environment.
Currently, it is possible to combine data from various sources to obtain valuable information and contribute to the journey of cost savings, safety, and emissions control of vehicles in road freight transport.
“More than generating reports and insights, we differentiate ourselves by offering information and methods ready to apply in the daily routine of carriers,” says Rafael Sabini, co-founder of Gobrax. With the changes in the company’s leadership next year, the entrepreneur will focus on technology, artificial intelligence, and data intelligence areas of Gobrax.
