Details of the Last IBGE Public Competition
According to the economic advisor of Planning, the new IBGE competition has the full support of Minister Simone Tebet. It is a relevant request, and the ministry accepted it. However, it is being negotiated with the Ministry of Management, which has signaled several times that it agreed, and, as far as one understands, it is in the final stages, aiming to determine how many positions for each request.
The IBGE already has a request submitted to the Ministry of Management and Innovation of Public Services and, according to Minister Esther Dweck, the approval should be passed in a second round of authorizations for federal competitions.
The last IBGE competition for permanent positions took place in 2015, when two notices were published, with a total of 600 positions. At the time, the organizing body was the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). One notice provided 460 vacancies for technicians distributed across several states. The other had 90 vacancies for analysts and 50 for technologists, also with placements in various states.
