The contract includes activities such as cargo handling, mooring and unmooring of boats, transfer of water and oil, and diesel to vessels, among other services to assist Petrobras operations in the Campos Basin.

Presented at the value of R$ 147 million, the proposal selected by Top-TPAR Port Operator. The companies Triunfo Logística (R$ 189.8 million), Companhia Portuária Vila Velha – CPVV (R$ 220 million), and Brasco Logística (R$ 262 million) did not have their offers evaluated.

Until August 5, companies will be able to submit appeals and contest Petrobras’ bidding committee’s decision.

Techinp Port Operator (Top-TPAR) also conducts operations at the Angra dos Reis Port Terminal (TPAR). Since January of this year, TPAR has been managed by the investor group Splenda Offshore. Before that, the terminal was leased by TechnipFMC.

About Imbetiba Port

The history of Imbetiba Port is closely linked to the development of Macaé. The area was acquired by Petrobras in the 1970s, after the discovery of oil and gas reserves in the Campos Basin.

Imbetiba Port operates with six berths, all in operation, receiving about 300 monthly dockings. It also meets the general cargo demand for the production units of the Papa-terra Field, operated by Petrobras.

Currently, the operation of Imbetiba Port is under the command of CPVV. The contract with the company, which started in 2017, is expected to end at the end of this year.
