About Imbetiba Port
The history of Imbetiba Port is closely linked to the development of Macaé. The area was acquired by Petrobras in the 1970s, after the discovery of oil and gas reserves in the Campos Basin.
Imbetiba Port operates with six berths, all in operation, receiving about 300 monthly dockings. It also meets the general cargo demand for the production units of the Papa-terra Field, operated by Petrobras.
Currently, the operation of Imbetiba Port is under the command of CPVV. The contract with the company, which started in 2017, is expected to end at the end of this year.
