As Click Petroleum and Gas has been following the developments of the mega project of the Port Complex of São Mateus (CPSM), updates are being posted here on our page.
After the signing in January of the contract between Petrocity Portos and Odebrecht for the construction of the enterprise in Espírito Santo, it is now time for a public hearing to discuss the topic.
The event will take place on August 2nd, at 6:30 PM, at Sesc São Mateus and will be an excellent opportunity for the population to ask questions and understand more about Petrocity’s project.
In addition to the residents of São Mateus, authorities from the east of Minas, south of Bahia, and northern and northwestern Espírito Santo have been invited to the debate.

The project has been eagerly awaited by the entire economy of the state of Espírito Santo, as it is seen as a chance for economic recovery and job restoration in the São Mateus region and surrounding areas.
The contract is the largest work of Odebrecht after the Lava Jato operation and the ceremony also involved the signing of contracts with the operators who will be involved in the development of activities, cargo movement, and foreign trade at the port, in addition to the presentation of the Minas Espírito Santo Railway – EFMES.
The Enterprise
With investments amounting to R$ 3.2 billion, the Port Center of São Mateus will have its main contract, worth R$ 2.1 billion with Odebrecht.

Petrocity’s President, José Roberto Barbosa da Silva, expressed optimism regarding the new phase of the project and the implemented changes, and stated, “Now, we are already in the phase of moving forward to begin the mobilization for the construction of CPSM, as soon as we receive the licenses,” he affirmed.
