Billions of barrels on the equatorial margin could lead Amapá to double its oil production in Brazil — the state aims to enter the route of companies in the Campos Basin, attract investments, and boost jobs and businesses in the oil and gas sector.
The company’s contract also includes the transportation and installation of umbilicals, manifolds and associated foundations for production and water and gas injection systems. It is expected that the execution of the works will begin in 2019. Brazilian contractors may have a good chance to compete for these bids, as this invitation does not limit geographical issues or other country of origin requirements.
