SINN Power Developed A Floating Platform That Can Generate Solar Energy, Wind Energy, And Hydrogen. The Platform Does All Of This Using The Potential Of Wave Power
The German company SINN Power has created a new project that can produce three distinct types of renewable energy. With a structure known as the Ocean Hybrid Platform, the company aims to generate electricity using solar energy, wind energy, wave power, and it can also produce hydrogen. The SINN Power platform, presented last year, is a structure that floats in the sea and harnesses elements of nature to produce renewable energy. According to the company, one of the biggest attractions of the project is its mobility.

In cases of natural events that exceed these limits, the structure generating wind energy, solar energy, and hydrogen can be towed to a safe location and then used again.
According to Philipp Sinn, CEO of the German company, the platform can be used to complement offshore wind and solar parks to increase load capacity, provide renewable energy to aquaculture and hydrogen production, or simply produce clean energy for remote islands and coastal areas. Philipp Sinn emphasized that the company’s goal is to create a durable platform that will drastically change the renewable energy ecosystem.
SINN Power Conducts Tests Collecting Solar Energy, Wind Energy, And Hydrogen
SINN Power has successfully conducted tests in Heraklion, Greece, and is actively selling its renewable energy solution to developers around the world.
In addition to the equipment necessary for generating wind energy, solar energy, and hydrogen, including IP68 protection, the company offers an extensive range of engineering, installation, and acquisition services, including operation and maintenance according to customer requirements.
Platform Of The German Company Has 70 Solar Modules, Wind Turbines, And More
The platform of the German company has space for 70 photovoltaic modules in one square meter, generating about 30 kW with modern modules. With the help of a coherent structure, a solar power park of 3 MW can be developed easily and quickly.
Regarding hydraulic production, based on maritime conditions and renewable energy demand, different configurations are suitable for the wave energy converter.
Each corner of the platform can be connected with a converter that uses wave energy or small wind turbines of various sizes. In addition to its simplicity and durability, the structure is adaptable and flexible to various sizes and arrangement configurations, with the possibility of future expansion. The components used are always the same, offered for simple assembly and easy transport.
