According to Augusto Oliveira, director of the C-Pack-Creative Packaging factory, there is already a team of 23 people and by the end of the year, the expectation is to be close to filling 40 job openings, however, the total project will have around 120 when the factory is fully operational. The Municipality of Bragança Comments on the Factory
The mayor of Bragança, Paulo Xavier, is placing great hope in the investment that offers job openings to work in Portugal and claims that the expectation is because it is strategic for the region, generating more wealth and employment. In addition, the investment of the Portuguese municipality of about 4.5 million euros enables the expansion of the industrial zone and creates 46 new lots.
Thus, for Xavier, it is possible to see that there is a return. 30 lots are already sold, which means an investment of 50 million euros. In the short term, with the new companies, 300 jobs will be created, which can represent 120 million euros in terms of exports.
