The internship is defined by law as a supervised educational practice. Developed in the workplace, it aims to prepare the student for productive work. The intern’s schedule will be determined by mutual agreement between the School, Student, and Granting Institution, except in the case of interns with disabilities.
For the internship, the granting of a stipend or other means of compensation and transportation assistance is optional. It is important to mention that it is the school’s responsibility to evaluate the facilities of the granting institutions, establish the Commitment Term between the student and the grantor, aligning internship conditions with the pedagogical proposal of the course, and appoint a teacher or sector advisor to be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the intern.
How to Prepare for an Interview
Before even going to the interview, the candidate should spend time preparing their resume, which should be informative and appealing to the interviewer, without any Portuguese language errors. Thus, review your resume before submitting it.
If you are in college or finishing higher education, you do not need to include information about high school. Do not forget to mention a second language and your career objectives. It is not necessary to include activities that are not related to the desired position, but if you have developed any project or activity related to the company’s activities, include it objectively in your resume. Even if you have no experience and this is your first job interview, adopt a confident and calm demeanor.
