A call center company from Marília (SP) announced on Tuesday (14) the opening of hundreds of new internship vacancies for high school students residing in the municipality and other cities in the metropolitan area, such as Agudos and Bauru (SP), with a stipend worth R$ 600 plus benefits.

Interested candidates must be in their first to third year of high school, be at least 16 years old, with two internship schedules available, from 8 AM to 2 PM and from 2 PM to 8 PM. In total, there are 250 internship vacancies in Marília, 50 in Agudos, and 300 in Bauru.

Interns will be responsible for performing administrative activities related to operations, such as sending messages via WhatsApp, customer service, and emails. Additionally, the Telemarketing attendant will make calls to people using a specific phone list to sell products or request donations, using scripts to provide information about features, product prices, and demonstrate their benefits.

Moreover, they will ask relevant questions to understand customer demands, accurately record personal information in a computer system, and persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how the goods or services meet their needs. They will also handle complaints or queries to protect the reputation of the Call Center company.

The internship is defined by law as a supervised educational practice. Developed in the workplace, it aims to prepare the student for productive work. The intern’s schedule will be determined by mutual agreement between the School, Student, and Granting Institution, except in the case of interns with disabilities.

For the internship, the granting of a stipend or other means of compensation and transportation assistance is optional. It is important to mention that it is the school’s responsibility to evaluate the facilities of the granting institutions, establish the Commitment Term between the student and the grantor, aligning internship conditions with the pedagogical proposal of the course, and appoint a teacher or sector advisor to be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the intern.
