Occupational Safety Technician

Location: São Paulo

Requirements:

• Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety with Registration at the Ministry of Labor;
• Availability to travel;
• Must own a vehicle;
• Plus: Civil Firefighter Training;
• Experience: Previous in Retail;
• Preferred Courses: NR-10, NR-12, NR-20, NR-35;

Some Responsibilities of the Opportunity:

• Perform inspections at locations, facilities, departments, and equipment in the Distribution Center in Cumbica and Cajamar, identifying risk situations, proposing improvement suggestions to area managers, eliminating/neutralizing imminent safety risks through reports or technical opinions.
• Implement programs for the prevention of workplace accidents and occupational diseases caused in workplace environments, monitoring and evaluating results monthly.
• Inspect the fire prevention and fighting system with checks on hydrants, hoses, extinguishers, emergency exits, emergency lighting, escape routes, and other protection and firefighting systems and equipment.

Forklift Operator

Location: São Paulo

Requirements:

• Completed High School
• Forklift Operator Course (minimum 30 hours)
• Driver’s License B
• Experience: 6 months as a Forklift Operator

 Responsibilities of the Opportunity:

• Transport and store goods for the store’s warehouse (internal or external) using the forklift as well as during loading and/or unloading.
• Handle and store all types of goods from the warehouse to the store or for retrieval/storage in aerial stock.
• Check the equipment’s conditions before use and request maintenance and fueling when necessary.
• Comply with internal procedures established by the occupational safety area and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
