Mechanical / Naval Engineer
Location: Macaé, Rio de Janeiro
The project: Petrobras project located in Macaé; Project duration: 3 years (36 months); Working hours: Administrative, with possible travel and offshore assignments.
Technical Engineering Support Services in New Operational Technologies in Jacket Inspection and Class Inspection of Vessels.
- Act as an interface with internal clients and external suppliers by providing information related to underwater operations for jacket inspection and vessel class inspection;
- Develop engineering solutions focused on reducing or eliminating safety, environmental, health risks, and increasing productivity in operations involving jacket inspection and vessel class inspection;
- Participate in and develop studies to support the creation or implementation of new operational technologies for jacket inspection and vessel class inspection;
- Monitor and coordinate operations for field data collection;
- Issue reports with feasibility studies comparing proposals for new technologies;
- Issue schedules for the implementation of new technologies;
- Monitor and coordinate field or bench tests of new technologies;
- Conduct training, user support, and clarify questions regarding the use of new technologies.
Requirements:
Degree in Naval Engineering; or Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering with a post-graduate degree in Naval Engineering;
Solid experience in offshore assignments in class inspections;
Registration with the Professional Council;
CBSP Course (Basic Platform Safety Course) and Huet (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training);
Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, with the ability to generate tables and dynamic graphs;
Advanced English.
