Of the 22 vacancies made available by VLI, 11 will be for Young Apprentices in electromechanics in Divinópolis (MG), 8 for Young Apprentices in electromechanics in Monte Carlos (MG) and 3 for Young Apprentices in logistics in Santa Luzia. Young people who have completed high school and who are available for 8 hours a day can enroll in the VLI selection process.

The course for the railway maintenance area, in particular, will be developed through a partnership with the National Service of Industrial Learning (SENAI).

The apprenticeship in the logistics company will last for a maximum of two years, and there are chances for the apprentice to secure his effective job in the company after completing it. Those selected for the Young Apprentice will receive, in addition to a scholarship worth R$ 1.100, a meal card, transport or chartered bus vouchers, dental assistance, Gympass, medical assistance, professional development, food vouchers, a Christmas basket and, in addition, a network of discounts in several stores, salons and restaurants.
