With operations in Barro Alto and Codemin, located in the cities of Barro Alto and Niquelândia (GO), the mining company Anglo American produces ferronickel. A reference for design and high-tech constructions, about two-thirds of all refined nickel produced is used by the stainless steel industry.

Minas-Rio is its iron ore operation in Brazil. It is located in the states of Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro. It is a fully integrated iron ore export operation, with a mine, processing plant, slurry pipeline, and dedicated terminal at the Port of Açu. The company owns 100% of Minas-Rio, except for the port facility, in which it holds a 50% stake in a joint venture with Ferroport.

Senior Laboratory Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering;
• Master’s Degree in Chemistry;
• Experience in physicochemical laboratory and background in the mining area;                    
• Technical knowledge in quality laboratory practices and preparation; 
• Advanced English;

Production Supervisor

• Complete technical training in Metallurgy or Chemistry;
• Experience in activities described in the role or similar.
• Experience in electric reduction furnace operations.
• Experience in team management.
• Knowledge of Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Integrated Management System – production area.
• Desirable experience in operational procedures of the sector.

Human Resources Analyst

• Ongoing higher education in Administration, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields;
• Advanced Excel;
• Financial knowledge and ability to work with large data volumes;
• Knowledge in Power BI will be considered a plus;
• Desirable intermediate English.

Communications Analyst Pl

• Completed higher education in Communication;
• Experience in internal communication and content production for internal communication channels;
• Experience in the Mining scenario and market will be considered a plus;
• Advanced English will be considered a plus;
• Availability for temporary work.
