Called “Ecovagas,” the charging points are exclusively for electric cars and are already installed in 23 Brazilian cities, including Greater São Paulo, which will receive four Ecovagas at the Shopping Pátio Paulista, near Avenida Paulista.
As previously mentioned, the spots will be monitored by staff who ensure greater security for the electric car chargers and perform maintenance on the network, energy, and management through software and technology that demonstrate the service excellence of Enel X and Estapar.

The companies’ spots will be free for all customers using electric cars during the first six months of use. After this period, the company will likely charge fees for charging.
80% in 3 Hours
The service will be completely free for the clients of the partner companies in the project. The initiative aims to ensure that electric car manufacturers establish agreements with Enel X and Estapar to provide the benefit to those who own vehicles from their brands.
The chargers were developed by Enel X in partnership with Volvo and can charge 80% of the parked electric vehicle in up to 3 hours of charging.
The new spots from the companies encourage environmental preservation and can be located through an Estapar app available for Android and iOS. The app will also allow users to check which individuals are eligible for the free service.
Stellantis, Enel X, and Estapar
In May, Stellantis partnered with the two companies, Enel X and Estapar, to make the arrival of its new electric cars like the Fiat 500e and the Peugeot 208 viable.
The company intends to install a network of approximately 200 charging points for its customers. It is important to note that this number is only for the first semester and may be expanded in the second semester. The ecovagas will be focused on airports, shopping centers, arenas, hospitals, and some educational institutions and will be present in 23 cities across 10 Brazilian states.
