The companies’ spots will be free for all customers using electric cars during the first six months of use. After this period, the company will likely charge fees for charging.
80% in 3 Hours
The service will be completely free for the clients of the partner companies in the project. The initiative aims to ensure that electric car manufacturers establish agreements with Enel X and Estapar to provide the benefit to those who own vehicles from their brands.
The chargers were developed by Enel X in partnership with Volvo and can charge 80% of the parked electric vehicle in up to 3 hours of charging.
The new spots from the companies encourage environmental preservation and can be located through an Estapar app available for Android and iOS. The app will also allow users to check which individuals are eligible for the free service.
Stellantis, Enel X, and Estapar
In May, Stellantis partnered with the two companies, Enel X and Estapar, to make the arrival of its new electric cars like the Fiat 500e and the Peugeot 208 viable.
The company intends to install a network of approximately 200 charging points for its customers. It is important to note that this number is only for the first semester and may be expanded in the second semester. The ecovagas will be focused on airports, shopping centers, arenas, hospitals, and some educational institutions and will be present in 23 cities across 10 Brazilian states.
