Nicknamed the “Enem of Competitions”, the exam organized by the federal government will have nearly two million participants.
A number published by the Ministry of Management and Innovation this Saturday (17) showed that at least 1.88 million people secured their registration for the Unified National Competition. As published by Click Petroleum and Gas, the deadline for payment of the fee ended on Friday (16).
According to the ministry, as of Friday, 1.288 million people paid the registration fee. They joined the exempt candidates, thus totaling at least 1.88 million participants. This number is much lower than the total number of registered: 2.65 million.
Excluding exempt individuals, to have their names confirmed for the exam, it was necessary to pay fees that were R$ 90 for higher-level positions and R$ 60 for middle-level positions.

The so-called Enem of Competitions will have 6,640 vacancies for 21 federal public agencies, divided into eight thematic blocks. The notices also contain provisions for the formation of a reserve register with at least double the number of vacancies available.

The Stages of the Exam in the Enem of Competitions
According to the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, the evaluation of candidates will occur through three stages. The first stage of the national exam will be divided into the following phases:
- 1st phase: objective and essay tests, with classification and elimination characteristics;
- 2nd phase: medical expertise (biopsychosocial assessment) of candidates who declare themselves with disabilities, with solely eliminatory character;
- 3rd phase: procedure for verification of the declared condition to compete for vacancies reserved for black candidates, with solely eliminatory character;
- 4th phase:confirmation procedure of the declared condition to compete for vacancies reserved for indigenous candidates (only FUNAI), with solely eliminatory character.
Finally, the second stage will be dedicated to the evaluation of titles, with classification character, while the third and last stage will be dedicated to specific training courses, with classification and elimination character.
What Will Be the Upcoming Dates
With the end of the registration and payment dates, the “Enem of Competitions” now enters other phases. They are:
- Disclosure of final registration data: 29/02/2024;
- Disclosure of confirmation cards: 29/04/2024;
- Application of the exams: 05/05/2024;
- Disclosure of results of objective and preliminary exams of essay tests and writing: 03/06/2024;
- Final disclosure of results: 30/07/2024;
- Start of calling for possession and training courses: 05/08/2024.
