The Energisa Group, the largest private group in the electric sector with 100% national capital, will give one year of free electricity to residential customers who pay their electricity bills via QR Code PIX or automatic debit. The prizes can reach R$ 5 thousand in drawings. Launched last Saturday (28/8), the promotion began in the state of Mato Grosso, where the utility has around 1.5 million consumers.

Those interested have until September 30th to participate. Subsequently, the company will extend the campaign to the other 10 states where it operates as an electricity distribution concessionaire.

“Energisa was the first company in the electricity sector to include the PIX QR Code on printed bills. The digitalization of financial services is essential to make daily life easier, especially for those living in areas with restricted access. Therefore, we found a differentiated way to encourage the use of this technology, which optimizes customers’ time and will reward those who are drawn,” says Antônio Tovar, Finance Director of Energisa.

Group Already Reaches 5% Of The Volume Of Bills Paid By QR Code PIX.

The promotion is another initiative by Energisa to establish itself as a complete energy company, where digitalization is at the center of its business strategy.

The pioneering solution for paying electricity bills via QR Code PIX was launched in February this year and, since then, many customers have adopted this modality. With about eight million customers nationwide, Energisa has already reached 5% of the volume of bills paid via QR Code PIX. The states leading this ranking are Acre and Rondônia. “Our expectation is to increase by 8% the volume of bills paid via QR Code PIX across all 11 distributors by the end of the year,” Tovar reports.

Another innovation from Energisa to make customers’ daily lives easier is the Voltz digital account, which has been providing banking and financial services since January of this year, especially for the unbanked.

To participate, Energisa Mato Grosso customers must pay their electricity bill using the QR Code PIX and register directly on the company’s website AT THIS LINK.

Payment through the system is easy. Just open the app of your preferred bank or digital wallet, select the PIX option, point your phone’s camera at the QR Code printed on the electricity bill, check the details and done. Payment can be made at any time and day, including weekends and holidays.
