Petrobras tender guarantees three lots for Engeman and one lot for Tecnofine
Brazil's oil and gas sector is in the spotlight with the results of a highly important tender conducted by Petrobras.
This tender focuses on providing services on a significant set of platforms located in the Campos, Santos and Espírito Santo basins.

Petrobras issued a notice to hire providers of operation services and high-level tasks related to cranes, equipment, cargo handling accessories and industrial cleaning.
The bidding was divided into four substantial lots, with Engeman, based in Pernambuco, leading in three of them (Lots 1, 2 and 4), while the company Tecnofine took the lead in Lot 3.
Other companies, such as RIP Kaefer, Marine and Naval, Jota GE and Perbras, also participated in the competition.
Engeman stood out in the bidding by presenting the best proposals in several lots.
In Lot 1, Engeman offered the best proposal of R$157,3 million, surpassing its competitors. In Lot 2, history repeated itself, with Engeman presenting the most advantageous offer of R$159,3 million.
In Lot 3, which covers services on platforms P-71 (Itapu), PMXL-1 and PMLZ-1 (Mexilhão and Merluza) in the Santos Basin, Tecnofine came out ahead with a proposal of R$50,8 million, surpassing Engeman and other competitors.
Lot 4 involves platforms P-25, P-31, P-57, P-58 and PRA1 in the Espírito Santo Basin, together with Maintenance and Safety Units.
Engeman once again led the way with a proposal of R$95,6 million, surpassing other competitors.
Petrobras enters the phase of negotiating values for service contracts on platforms
Petrobras is now entering the price negotiation and proposal validation phase, with the expectation of announcing the definitive winners in the coming weeks.
This bid caught the market's attention due to the salary floors pre-defined by Petrobras, which could result in better remuneration for the approximately 1.500 professionals involved in the four lots.
Additionally, there will be expanded qualification requirements for professionals, including the need for complete secondary education for Cargo Handling Assistants, as well as mandatory technical courses for Crane Operators and Supervisors.
Contracts for services on platforms will have a duration of 1.520 days, from the date of conclusion, with a period for carrying out the activities stipulated at 1.460 days, counting from the date indicated in the Service Authorization.
