“Bahia will receive new electric power transmission lines, one of them, from Neoenergia Group, will have a length of 1,000 km, with a maximum deadline of 60 months for completion and an expectation of generating over 4,000 direct jobs during construction. The transmission lines will pass through 27 municipalities, such as Morro do Chapéu, Poções, and Medeiros Neto. We will also have investments of R$ 13 billion in the construction of new wind parks, which are expected to generate 56,000 direct and indirect jobs. Meanwhile, new solar power plants estimate to invest over R$ 8 billion and create 27,500 direct job positions. Both by 2025.”
