The Already Established Line of Triton Yachts Recently Sent a 30-Foot Vessel to Italy and Plans to Export Two More Boats to Paraguay This Year, Dollar High Favors the Demand for Boats and Negotiations of the Brazilian Shipyard with the International Market

October, 2020 – Even in the face of the crisis caused by the new coronavirus, the Brazilian leisure boat shipyard Triton Yachts expanded its business in the international market. Recently, the brand exported a 30-foot vessel to Italy, and two more boats are in production for customers in Paraguay.

The marketing director of Triton Yachts, Allan Cechelero, explains that some factors contribute to this growth in sales to the international market. The high dollar against the real is one of them.

Dollar Favors the Search for Vessels in the International Market

“The dollar issue has favored a greater demand for our vessels. However, both in the international and national markets, people are realizing that boating is a safe form of leisure during times of social distancing, a necessary prevention during the pandemic. The choice of our vessels also demonstrates the high quality of Triton products,” he comments.

The shipyard, with a construction unit in the metropolitan region of Curitiba (PR), has more than 150 vessels exported to countries such as Spain, Norway, Netherlands, Angola, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, and Italy. The Latin American market is still one of the main markets served by Triton due to the ease of export. However, the European market is also in the brand’s plans for operation, which intends to start a representation soon.

Most Sought-After Vessels at the Brazilian Shipyard

The last vessel exported by Triton Yachts was the Triton 300 Sport, recently delivered to a customer in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, Italy. This was the second vessel sold to the country. Besides the technology and space optimization, the 30-foot boat – 9.20 meters in length – charms with its sportier and bolder design. It has exclusive finishes and impressive details, such as the pilot’s seat and the steering wheel of the control center, which has a design similar to a racing car.

The 300 Sport also has European certification (CE). The document ensures that the vessel complies with the mandatory quality standards of the shipyard, safety, and durability required by the European Union. Criteria such as the company’s credibility, as well as sea tests and technical measurements, are evaluated. The certificate also authorizes the entry of the foreign boat into Europe.

Models between 30 and 40 feet are among the most sought after by international customers. This is also the case for the Triton 370 HT, which is already in production at the factory to be delivered to a customer in Paraguay in mid-November.

The Triton 370 HT is excellent for navigation in seas and rivers. This classic model with a sporty touch features a hardtop, similar to a sunroof, with electric opening. When closed, it provides a spacious additional environment with a height of 1.85 meters, but when opened, it is great for enjoying sunny days. Its exterior has ample leisure and dining spaces, as well as a sunbathing area. With impeccable finishes, the interior includes a bathroom, two cabins for overnight stays, a living area, and a kitchen.
