Shipbuilding: Drilling Rig Works Near Resumption at Brasfels (RJ) and Jurong (ES)

Good news for Brazilian shipbuilding workers, the Magni Partners group and MIC Capital Partners (a company of the Mubadala group) have formed a special purpose entity (SPE) aimed at holding and managing the Arpoador, Guarapari drillships (under construction at the Jurong shipyard in Aracruz (ES)) and the Urca and Frade semi-submersibles, under construction at Brasfels.

The resumption of drilling rig works is highly anticipated by traditional shipbuilding cities such as Angra dos Reis (RJ) and Aracruz (ES), due to the high unemployment rate caused by the stoppage of works as a result of the investigations of Operation Car Wash in 2014/2015.

Telecommunications Technician

Requirements: Technical course in the area of Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications, desirable knowledge in the supervision system, remote panels, standard measurement equipment (flow, level, pressure, and temperature).

Naval Piping Engineer

Requirements: Degree in Engineering; Experience in the role in FPSO projects; Solid knowledge in Smart Marine 3D (Piping + Supports), Microstation, and MS Office; Valid registration with CREA; Fluent English is mandatory; Availability to work in Aracruz/ES. We offer a salary and benefits compatible with the market.

Chief Engineer (TEMPORARY)

Requirements: Completed High School, must have qualifications required by the Brazilian Navy.
