To work 4h from home in the home office positions, candidates must have a higher education degree recognized by the Ministry of Education in the areas of Pedagogy, Special Education, or a teaching degree in any area, an updated Lattes Curriculum at least 90 days before the end of registrations, availability to work 20 hours per week, and not accumulate scholarships from other programs, except in cases permitted by Capes.
However, it is also desirable, but not mandatory, for the candidate to have a postgraduate degree (specialization, master’s, or doctorate) in Inclusive Education or Special Education, experience in basic or higher education, preferably with students with disabilities, training in tutoring or use of Moodle, experience in Distance Education (EaD).

The notice aims to select professionals for the EAD tutor position at UNB to work 4h from home in pedagogical support and mediation of course subjects, in accordance with the guidelines of the Open University of Brazil (UAB) and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes).
The notice offers 100 home office positions, with 75 for broad competition and 25 designated for affirmative actions (blacks, indigenous peoples, quilombolas, persons with disabilities, transgenders, and travestis).
Applications for the EAD tutor position at UNB to work from home are open until February 28, 2025, and must be made exclusively through the official UNB website. The application fee is R$ 50.00 with a possibility of exemption for low-income candidates registered in CadÚnico.
Stages for the Home Office Positions
The selection process for the EAD tutor position at UNB, which allows working from home, will be divided into three stages, as follows:
- Approval of Applications: the analysis of documents and compliance with the requirements of the notice will be carried out;
- Title Evaluation: evaluation of diplomas, certificates, and professional experiences, with a maximum score of 100 points;
- Final Classification: Here, candidates will be classified in descending order of score.
It is worth mentioning that those approved for the EAD tutor position at UNB will receive a monthly scholarship of R$ 1,100, according to Capes regulations. The workload to work from home will be 20 hours per week, including mediation in the AVA, meetings with teachers, and participation in training meetings.
