The application fee is R$ 30, but there is a possibility of exemption for candidates who meet specific criteria, such as being registered in the Unified Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government or having a family gross income of up to three minimum wages.
Candidates wishing to request the exemption from the application fee must do so by September 10. To do this, it is necessary to fill out the request available in the announcement.
The exemption is intended for individuals registered in the Unified Registry or who have a gross family income per capita of up to half a minimum wage.
Selection Process of the Federal Institute
The selection of candidates will be conducted through a test scheduled for November 24.
The test will consist of 28 multiple-choice questions divided into three areas of knowledge: Languages, Codes and Their Technologies; Mathematics and Its Technologies; and Human Sciences and Their Technologies.
