How the Course Works
The training course is conducted in two units of the Navy: the Almirante Milcíades Portela Alves Instruction Center (CIAMPA), located in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), and the Brasília Instruction and Training Center (CIAB), in the Federal District.
During this period, candidates will receive specialized military training to serve as Naval Commandos.
Students will participate in activities involving intense physical training, combat and survival instruction, first aid techniques, and military tactics.
The course routine is demanding and includes training with weapons, defensive strategies, and special operations.
Participants will also be trained to act in emergency situations and humanitarian missions, preparing for real challenges.
Selection Process
Interested candidates must go through a rigorous selection process, which includes a Written Objective Test with questions in Portuguese Language and Mathematics.
Those approved in this stage will undergo supplementary examinations, including:
- Verification of Documents and Biographical Data;
- Health Inspection;
- Physical Fitness Admission Test, which requires excellent physical condition;
- Psychological Evaluation;
- Complementary Procedure to Self-Declaration for quota candidates.
Physical fitness tests are essential for selection. Candidates must demonstrate good physical condition by performing exercises such as:
- 3,200 meters run in up to 19 minutes;
- Push-ups and pull-ups;
- 50-meter utility swim in a determined time.
Approval in these stages guarantees continuity in the selection process, which requires discipline and commitment.
