There are 656 free spots, with a portion reserved exclusively for public servants. The registration deadline has been extended until January 10, meaning until next Friday (10), giving a new chance to those who have not registered yet.
To participate, simply access the official program website, fill in the information, and pay a fee of R$ 160.00. The selection process occurs through the National Access Exam (ENA).
Structure and Objectives of the Program
As announced by the MEC, ProfEPT focuses on training highly qualified professionals to work in professional and technological education.
The program is recognized by CAPES and offers an interdisciplinary approach aimed at meeting the growing demand for continuing education in Brazil.

These lines aim to enhance teaching practices and foster educational progress.
Slots Distributed Across Brazil
According to the official ProfEPT website, the slots are distributed among various educational institutions throughout the country.
In total, 50% of the spots are reserved for employees of partner institutions. Some of the participating institutions include:
- CEFET-MG (Divinópolis Campus): 6 spots;
- IFCE (Fortaleza Campus): 8 spots;
- IFSP (Sertãozinho Campus): 8 spots;
- IFRS (Porto Alegre Campus): 11 spots;
- IFPR (Curitiba Campus): 11 spots.
These spots cover practically all regions of Brazil, ensuring that candidates from North to South can participate.
Who Can Apply and Pursue the Master’s Degree?
The program is intended for any professional with a bachelor’s degree but is especially aimed at those who work or wish to work in professional and technological education.
Public servants have priority for 50% of the spots, but they are not the only beneficiaries.
According to the published notice, it is essential that candidates are willing to participate in in-person activities, in addition to online classes, to fulfill the required workload.
