Singer Revealed He Received R$ 100 Thousand Extra After Show at Luciana Cardoso’s Birthday and Highlighted Faustão’s Generosity in Refusing Refund

Singer Alexandre Pires, 49, shared a curious story involving Fausto Silva, 75, during an appearance on the “Silvio Santos Program”, hosted by Patrícia Abravanel. He said he received R$ 100 thousand more than the agreed amount after a show.

According to Alexandre, the performance took place on Luciana Cardoso’s birthday, the presenter’s wife.

He brought the project “Baile do Nego Véio” to the party and played for about three hours. The artist said that Faustão, known for his generosity, even gave him and his wife a watch as a gift.

Unexpected Deposit

Faustão apparently understood that the work was in double format, as the show was very long. For this reason, he authorized the transfer of the extra amount.

The following week, Alexandre’s manager noticed the difference and alerted him about the deposit of R$ 100 thousand more. The singer then tried to return the amount.

Refusal to Receive Back

According to Alexandre, when he reached out to Faustão’s production to adjust the amount, the response was clear: the presenter would not accept the money back.

“I spoke with him, explained that I had deposited too much, but Faustão simply said to leave it as it was,” said the artist.

The artist highlighted this attitude as yet another demonstration of Faustão’s generosity.

On the program’s stage, he took the opportunity to publicly thank the kindness, reinforcing that the episode was marked as a gesture of friendship and respect.
