It Drives More Than Many SUVs, Is More Fuel Efficient, and Costs Less: Meet the Strada Ranch Turbo 2025, the Pickup That Might Retire Your Old Urban Car Idea
If you think a compact pickup needs to be simple, uncomfortable, or dull, the Fiat Strada Ranch Turbo 2025 is here to change your mind. With a turbocharged engine, sturdy look, refined interior, and over 650 km of range on a single tank, this Ranch version shows that it is possible to combine practicality, style, and performance—all at a price that is not as shocking as its more pretentious competitors.
Real Turbo Engine, Not Just in Name
Let’s get straight to the point: yes, it is a real turbo. No “naturally aspirated turbo” or other inventions. The Strada Ranch comes with the new 1.0 Turbo 200 Flex engine that delivers 130 hp with ethanol and 125 hp on gasoline, along with 20.4 kgfm of torque at low RPMs. It is the same setup used in the Pulse and the Fastback—two cars that have already proven that this little engine performs (and a lot).
In fact, it goes from 0 to 100 km/h in about 9.5 seconds, which is faster than many automatic compact SUVs sold today in Brazil. All that with a Smooth CVT Transmission, which simulates 7 gears and makes driving smarter and less clunky than older automatic gearboxes.

The 2026 electric Vitara arrives in Brazil and proves that Suzuki is not leaving: 4×4 traction, 184 hp, 61 kWh LFP battery, 293 km range, R$ 259,000, and a trunk capacity of 224 L.
-
Hyundai has unveiled the Boulder, a square SUV with a body-on-frame design, 37-inch mud tires, and carriage-style doors that seems to be made to take on the Ford Bronco and the Scout Traveller in the United States.
-
The Toyota Hilux is R$ 75.5 thousand cheaper and bets on the 2.8 turbodiesel engine with up to 204 hp and 50.9 kgfm to catch up with the VW Saveiro, which leads with 4,472 sales.

The new Renault Koleos has a screen exclusively for the passenger that is invisible to the driver, heated rear seats, and 29 assistance systems, but its Chinese competitors cost R$ 40,000 less and deliver more power.

Over 650 km Without Stopping to Refuel
And what about fuel consumption? The Strada Ranch does not disappoint. With gasoline, it achieves up to 13.2 km/l on the highway and reaches over 660 km of range with its 55-liter tank. That’s hybrid car numbers, without you needing to pay the price of a Corolla Cross.
With ethanol, of course, consumption is a bit higher—around 9.4 km/l on the highway—but it is still better than many naturally aspirated 1.8 cars out there.
Robust Design and SUV-Worthy Interior
You know that “hardworking yet stylish” look? The Strada Ranch delivers that perfectly. With LED headlights, tonneau cover, roof racks, side steps, and 16-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, it is far from that “bare-bones” car look.
Inside, the finish is surprising: leather seats with contrasting stitching, 7″ touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay without wires, wireless charger, digital air conditioning, and a well-equipped instrument panel. It is on par with SUVs like the Tracker or T-Cross—and costs less.
Safety? It’s Got That Too
The Strada Ranch 2025 has not forgotten about safety. It comes with 4 airbags, stability control, hill start assist, tire pressure monitoring, and ISOFIX anchors for child seats. It even has a parking sensor and rear camera, which make a big difference in everyday use.
But What About the Price?
Here comes the most interesting point: all of this costs around R$ 137,990, according to the updated table from Mobiauto. In a market where automatic turbo SUVs with this level of finish easily exceed R$ 150,000, the Ranch delivers virtually everything for much less.
To give you an idea, the Renault Oroch turbo starts at over R$ 142,000 and still has simpler finishing. The Saveiro, which has a reputation as a tough vehicle, still comes with a 1.6 naturally aspirated engine and does not have an automatic turbo version like the Strada.
If we want to go further: a Fiat Toro Flex (also from the same brand) with a similar comfort level costs at least around R$ 150,000, and with inferior performance.
Is It Worth It?
If you are looking for a pickup for everyday use, that can handle heavy work but also comfortably carry the family on weekends, the Strada Ranch Turbo 2025 is a great choice. It is fuel-efficient, performs well, is full of technology, and has a design that catches attention on the street.
More than that: it offers the complete package that many compact SUVs promise but do not deliver. For this reason, it ends up being an intelligent alternative even for those who never considered owning a pickup.
