There were 184,384 vehicles registered, a 7.1% increase compared to February, with a turnaround, fierce competition, and even a car that dropped off the podium.

The Strada, which has become a staple at the top, registered 10,257 units, maintaining its crown with ease. But while it reigned, the battle raged below between hatches and SUVs. Spoiler: the Argo surprised, and the Polo narrowly lost second place.

What About The Compacts? Are They Still In The Fight?

The Fiat Argo, which hadn’t appeared among the favorites for a while, made a strong comeback: 8,247 units and a direct leap to second place. The Volkswagen Polo, which had been comfortably in the top 3, finished third, with 8,120 registrations — a difference of just 127 cars.

Meanwhile, the Hyundai HB20 secured consistent performance, with 6,122 units, even though it didn’t surprise as it did in its golden days. And the Chevrolet Onix, which used to be a leader, is now trying to hold on with 5,748 units in seventh place.

SUVs: Discreet But Rising Steadily

It may seem like they don’t dominate, but SUVs are carving out their space. The Volkswagen T-Cross appeared in fourth place, with 6,512 units, and the Toyota Corolla Cross right behind, with 5,834. They may not be explosive in numbers, but they are increasingly present in the garages of those seeking comfort, height, and status.
