Are You Looking for Free Courses? The City Hall of Duque de Caxias and Firjan/Senai Have Opened Hundreds of Positions in Professional Training Courses in the Areas of Woodworking, Electrician, and Many Others

The City Hall of Duque de Caxias (RJ), through the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance and Human Rights, in partnership with Firjan Senai, is offering various opportunities for free professional qualification courses. The opportunities are for the courses of Network Computer Systems Operator, Residential Electrician, Woodworking Machine Operator, and Logistics Operations Assistant.

Learn How to Register for the Free Courses at Firjan Senai

Those interested in any of the free courses offered by Firjan Senai and wish to receive guidance for registration must go to the SMASDH headquarters, located at Avenida Brigadeiro Lima e Silva, 1618, in the Jardim 25 de Agosto neighborhood.

At the location, applicants should look for the CadÚnico sector or Basic Social Protection. With the guidance, registrations for the free courses will be done at SENAI, at Rua Arthur Neiva – 100, in the Center of Duque de Caxias. Registrations can be made from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, and on Saturdays, from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Required Documents for Registration

Check below the list of documents requested by the city of Duque de Caxias to register for the Firjan Senai free courses. We divided the documents into two categories: the first are the essentials and the second are more specific documents:

• CPF (If it is included in the Identity Card, it will be waived)
• Official identification document with photo
• If underage, the applicant must also present the original and submit a copy of the CPF of the legal guardian.
• If underage, the original and a copy of the official identification document with photo of the legal guardian will also be necessary.
• Proof of the required level of education for each course. Certificates, school reports, or declarations dated within 60 days may be used.
• Proof of residence (last 3 months)
• For free courses and programs of Regulatory Exemption, it is necessary to issue a self-declaration of low income, showing a family income per capita of at most 1.5 minimum wages per month

Social Name: a request form will be filled out. For the “underage” student, the presence and signature of their legal guardian will be required.

Refugees/Foreigners: Protocol for requesting equivalence of studies completed abroad issued by the Secretary of Education.

In the case of candidates from institutional social projects or government programs in vulnerable situations or with disabilities, a self-declaration of education may be presented, which will require the legal guardian’s signature in the case of underage students.

For people with disabilities, proof of education should primarily consider the skills and competencies aimed at professionalization.
