Free Distance Learning Courses During the Pandemic

According to Edson Melo, the manager of Professional Education at Firjan SENAI, the priority is to invest in the quality of student training for a world that is becoming increasingly technological.

In this context, and with a focus on student training with the quality of Firjan SENAI, we plunged into learning processes and structured a viable offering of free online courses for development, with the certainty of meeting the needs of industry and society in general,” says Melo.

Know the Requirements to Participate in the Free Distance Learning Courses with Online Classes

To enroll in the free online courses, the candidate must have a monthly family income per capita of at most 1.5 times the federal minimum wage, along with age and education prerequisites for each title, among others.

In addition to all the necessary documentation required by both notices, such as identity, CPF, and proof of residence (full list in the notices), for positions in the free online courses for workers and former workers in the industry and their dependents, it is necessary to present proof of employment linkage for up to 3 years before the publication date of the notice (original work card or payslip of the responsible party).

There will be no selection test. The vacancies will be filled in the order of enrollment, considering the number of openings specified in the notice, at which point the candidate must attach the required documents. After that, Firjan SENAI will conduct a review of the documentation and, if everything is correct, will finalize the student’s enrollment in the desired course.

Registration for the vacancies in free online courses can be done by accessing the Mundo Store. After the company’s representatives complete the registration, the selected employees will receive a voucher, which will allow them to register on the portal and access the course.

The number of openings for each company depends on its size; microenterprises with up to 19 employees and small businesses with 20 to 99 employees can enroll up to 20% of their staff.

For medium-sized companies with 100 to 499 employees, the number of available openings is 10%; and for large companies with more than 500 employees, it is 5%.

Upon accessing the platform, two modalities will be available in the Emprega Mais Program at Firjan Senai, Requalifica and Novo Emprego. At this time, the available openings are for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, all in Requalifica.

It is important to note that the open registrations are for the last class of March, so companies should register soon before the EAD course slots run out.
