A Story of Dedication to Education
Since its inception, the Bradesco Foundation has been committed to supporting children and young people throughout their educational journey, offering exemplary and free education. The institution focuses its actions in the most socially vulnerable areas of the country, creating countless opportunities for its inhabitants.
The institution launched its first educational unit in 1962, called Ambassador Assis Chateaubriand, located in Osasco (SP). This unit primarily serves the children of its employees who meet the established criteria.
Since its beginning, the Bradesco Foundation has established partnerships to launch educational projects of great importance. One of these projects is LED, in collaboration with Globo and the Roberto Marinho Foundation, an initiative that seeks to encourage new methodologies and learning experiences. This project offers an annual prize of R$200,000 for each of the six winners, divided into three categories: Basic Education, Technical Education, and Non-Formal Education.
As a result, these efforts have played a crucial role in improving education in the country and reducing social disparities.
