MEC Selection Processes
The selection process will be conducted in two stages.
- Group 1 (open competition): national written test in General Physics and then memorial defense.
- Group 2 (teachers with 15 years or more of experience): analysis of the curriculum and memorial defense.
Both groups are eliminatory and classificatory, ensuring that only the candidates with the best performance occupy the positions. The memorial, according to the SBF, is the key element to show trajectory, motivations, and expected contributions to the teaching of physics in Brazil.
Requirements for Registration
Those who can register include teachers currently employed in Basic Education who teach Physics or Sciences and hold a degree recognized by the MEC (Licentiate or Bachelor’s degree in Physics, or related areas). Final-year students in graduation are also accepted. It is mandatory to have availability to attend face-to-face classes at the chosen center and, in the case of online registration, to have stable internet access for sending documents and communicating with the secretary.
