The national construction market is increasingly aligning with sustainability initiatives, reducing environmental impacts through ESG practices. Now, it is the contractor’s turn to invest in more renewable technologies for its projects.
Genial Solar specializes in the development and operation of solar energy plants under the shared generation model. This way, it can serve a variety of clients across the country.
By partnering with the contractor, it plans to bring renewable energy to the company’s construction projects.
The innovation could bring even more benefits to contractors in the national market, starting with Mozak.
“Genial Solar aims to bring the same efficiency from the financial world to the energy market, generating savings on our clients’ electricity bills through a simple digital subscription without risks,” commented the CEO of the company, Guilherme Grumser.
This is an increasingly common scenario in the Brazilian construction market, as several large companies in the sector turn to agreements with solar energy producers.
First Phase of the Project Is Expected to Be Completed in March 2023, with Ten Construction Projects Benefiting from Solar Energy
The goal of the Mozak project with Genial Solar is to bring solar energy to all its construction projects this year.
In its first phase, the project plans to implement the resource in ten of the company’s enterprises, which are: Nove, Verdê, Índigo, Essência, Tropí, Atoba, Parque Sustentável da Gávea, Jardins e Flora, as well as the office, located in the neighborhoods of Ipanema, Jardim Botânico, Lagoa, Gávea, and Leblon.
Currently, Mozak’s office already operates with solar energy, being supplied by the first Genial Shared Solar Plant. Now, the company is considering making this an even bigger reality in its projects.
In the coming days, Genial Solar will have the capacity to serve about 17,000 users, becoming even more relevant in the national renewable landscape.
With the company’s project with Mozak, it is expected that the construction company will be strongly benefited by solar energy in its works.
