Many job openings in the Amazon in sight! R$ 386,3 million will be invested in works in the areas of health, safety, infrastructure, sanitation and education.

Amid the pandemic, many job openings are coming! With an investment of BRL 386,3 million, 53 works in the areas of health, security, infrastructure, sanitation and education will be resumed in the capital and in the countryside. Macaé will receive 23 million reais in financial assistance from the Federal Government

With the resumption of works on June 1st, the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of State for Infrastructure and Metropolitan Region of Manaus (Seinfra), will generate more than 10 direct and indirect jobs in the region.

In addition to moving the economy across the state, the Government of Amazonas should also raise at least R$ 82.142.537,71 with the start, maintenance and resumption of works in the state.

The 53 works that will be resumed include projects that are yet to be put out to tender, those that are already under contract, and those that are awaiting signature of the work order.

They also include the resumption at a normal pace of works that had their pace reduced during the pandemic and works that will return with more intensity of execution in Amazonas

There are 15 works in Amazonas to be auctioned with the basic project ready and an investment of R$ 61.625.996,40. In which, eight are in infrastructure, three in the security area, three in sanitation and one in health.

Seven works with investments of R$ 21.975.347,79 are in the contracting process, of which five are infrastructure and two are security.

Five works in the area of ​​infrastructure for the conservation and maintenance of state highways are part of projects already tendered, but still without a work order. The works will cost investments of R$ 37.419.470,47.

Even in a period of social isolation due to the new coronavirus, Seinfra continued 21 works, adding up to investments of BRL 73.261.511,96.

The works that will return at full speed refer to the construction of the Humaitá Ring Road, the duplication of the AM-070, which connects Manaus to the municipalities of Iranduba, Novo Airão and Manacapuru; implementation works for the South Ring and East Ring, connecting the Industrial District of Manaus to the Eduardo Gomes International Airport; and the recovery of erosive processes on the roads of Itapiranga (AM-363) and Silves (AM-330). The investment is BRL 192.096.586,56.
