Amid the pandemic, many job opportunities are on the way! With an investment of R$ 386.3 million, 53 projects in the areas of health, security, infrastructure, sanitation, and education will be resumed in the capital and the countryside. With the resumption of projects on June 1st, the Government of Amazonas, through the State Secretariat of Infrastructure and Metropolitan Region of Manaus (Seinfra), will create over 10,000 direct and indirect job openings in the region.

In addition to boosting the economy throughout the state, the Government of Amazonas is also expected to raise at least R$ 82,142,537.71 with the initiation, maintenance, and resumption of projects in the state.
The 53 projects to be resumed include those that are yet to enter the bidding process, those already under contract, and those awaiting the signing of the service order.
They also include the return to normal pace of projects that had their pace reduced during the pandemic and those that will resume with increased execution intensity in Amazonas.
There are 15 projects in Amazonas to be bid, with the basic project already completed and an investment of R$ 61,625,996.40. Of these, eight are in infrastructure, three in security, three in sanitation, and one in health.
Seven projects with investments of R$ 21,975,347.79 are in the contracting process; of these, five are in infrastructure and two in security.
Five infrastructure projects for the conservation and maintenance of state roads are part of already bid projects, but still without a service order. The projects will cost an investment of R$ 37,419,470.47.
Even during the period of social isolation due to the new coronavirus, Seinfra continued with 21 projects, totaling investments of R$ 73,261,511.96.
The projects set to return in full swing include the construction of the Humaitá Ring Road, the duplication of AM-070, which connects Manaus to the municipalities of Iranduba, Novo Airão, and Manacapuru; the implementation of the South Ring and East Ring, linking the Industrial District of Manaus to Eduardo Gomes International Airport; and the recovery of erosive processes on the roads of Itapiranga (AM-363) and Silves (AM-330). The investment is R$ 192,096,586.56.
