Active in Paraná and Santa Catarina, the group is a pioneer in offering integrated energy solutions for commerce and homes. To present the new proposal to the market, it invested R$ 6 million
In Brazil, the production and distribution of commodities are still concentrated in large corporations (private or state-owned), with fixed prices and low competition. When we talk about natural resources, it is even harder to find a variety of suppliers, unlike what we see in other countries, where there is competition and fairer prices. Faced with this scenario, the Ergon Group – serving the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina – sought to differentiate itself in the GLP distribution market and promote distributed generation. In 2020, the Group became a pioneer in offering integrated energy solutions – GLP with Gaslog and distributed generation with Gedisa – for businesses, companies, and residential condominiums. The result was a growth of R$ 2.5 million in revenue and 300 new clients in six months.

“For seven years, we have differentiated ourselves in the GLP distribution market with Gaslog, focusing on customer service. For the first time, a company in this sector offered personalized after-sales service, eliminated the 0800 number, and created a range of comprehensive customer service offerings. With this customer-based mindset, we doubled in size in three years. During the pandemic, in July 2020, with Gedisa in our portfolio, we combined our expertise and expanded our high-quality service offerings in global energy supply, whether it is gas or electric. This way, we deliver what the customer truly needs, with savings,” explains Wolney Pereira, CEO of the Ergon Group.
The result was a close and trustworthy relationship with clients who often did not even know that it was possible to save on the electricity bill, for example. Furthermore, they have the benefits of contracting sustainable energy, with the quality of services and attention from the group. With Gaslog, in the past year, the company carried out a cost containment project, making it possible to shield clients from gas price increases and still offer discounts. Gedisa, the newest company in the group, is experiencing exponential growth with the promotion of the consumption model of distributed electrical energy that brings up to 20% discount on the electricity bills of small and medium-sized retailers.

“In this project of integrating solutions and developing and expanding Gedisa, we invested R$ 6 million in the last year. With that, we expanded our reach to the interior of Paraná and Santa Catarina. By the end of the year, we want to already be in Rio Grande do Sul. We anticipate a revenue increase of around 30%, and to exceed six thousand new clients,” concludes Pereira.
