Active in Paraná and Santa Catarina, the group is a pioneer in offering combined energy solutions for businesses and homes. To present the new proposal to the market, it invested BRL 6 million

In Brazil, the production and distribution of commodities are still concentrated in large corporations (private or state), with fixed prices and low competition. When we talk about natural resources, it is even more difficult to find a variety of suppliers, unlike what we find in other countries, where there is competition and fairer prices. It is facing this scenario that the Ergon Group – which serves the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina – sought to differentiate itself in the LPG distribution market and the promotion of distributed generation. In 2020, the Group became a pioneer in offering integrated energy solutions – LPG with Gaslog, and distributed generation with Gedisa – for businesses, companies and residential condominiums. The result was an increase of R$2,5 million in sales and 300 new customers in six months.

“Seven years ago, we differentiated ourselves in the LPG distribution market with Gaslog, focusing on customer service. For the first time, a company in this sector offered personalized post-sales services, removed the 0800 number and created a series of comprehensive customer service services. With that customer-based mentality, in three years, we doubled in size. In the midst of the pandemic, in July 2020, with Gedisa in our portfolio, we combined our expertise and expanded the offer of our high quality services in the global supply of energy, be it gas or electric. In this way, we deliver what the customer really needs, with economy”, explains Wolney Pereira, CEO of the Ergon Group.

The result was a close and trusting relationship with customers who, many times, would not even know that there is the possibility of saving on electricity bill, for example. Furthermore, they have the advantages of contracting sustainable energy, with the quality of care and services offered by the group. With Gaslog, in the last year, the company carried out a cost containment project, which made it possible to shield customers from increases in gas prices and even offer discounts. Gedisa, the newest company in the group, has been growing exponentially with the promotion of the distributed generation of electricity consumption modality that brings up to 20% discount on the electricity bill of small and medium-sized merchants.

“In this project to integrate solutions and develop and expand Gedisa, we invested BRL 6 million last year. With this, we expanded our operations to the interior of Paraná and Santa Catarina. By the end of the year, we want to be in Rio Grande do Sul. We anticipate an increase in billing of around 30%, and pass the number of six thousand new customers”, concludes Pereira.
