Among the discarded consoles were Atari, Colecovision, Intellivision, Famicom, Super Famicom, TurboGrafx-16, PC Engine, Neo Geo, Mega Drive, and Master System. In addition to the games, other valuable items were also thrown away, such as a drum kit, skateboards, and comic books.
The owner of the collection worked at J&L Games, a store popular among retro gaming enthusiasts. He decided to store the items at his parents’ house due to lack of personal space, believing they would be safe there. However, the mother did not recognize the value of the collection and, while cleaning the garage, ended up discarding everything.
