Concept Version of the Biz Inspired by Kuromi Appears at CCXP With Anime Visual, Kawaii Aesthetic, and Participation of Honda’s Brazilian Design Team.
Honda brought to the 2025 edition of CCXP in São Paulo a conceptual version of the Biz with a “anime” visual inspired by Kuromi, a character from the Japanese company Sanrio.
The motorcycle is based on the mechanical foundation of the Biz 125 EX 2025, with an engine of about 124 cm³, electronic fuel injection, and sufficient consumption to ensure over 300 km of theoretical autonomy per tank, but for now, it remains only as a design study, with no forecast for public sale.
Honda Brings Biz 125 Closer to the Anime Universe
In its official debut at CCXP, the brand showcased two examples of the Biz EX 2025 customized with the Kuromi theme, both developed in Brazil in direct partnership with Sanrio.

The other model opts for purple as the main color, always combining graphics, stickers, and details that refer to the character and the aesthetics of Japanese anime.
According to the manufacturer, the project follows the Japanese concept of “kawaii” culture, which values delicate, playful traits and striking colors.
The motorcycles display visual elements associated with Kuromi, such as combinations of dark tones with pink and purple details, while still preserving the traditional identity of the Biz.
The Biz remains recognizable in the shape of its fairing, the two-level seat, and its urban use proposal.

In addition to the motorcycles, Honda is also showcasing exclusive helmets with the same theme, designed to bring the character’s universe beyond two wheels and reinforce the collaborative nature with Sanrio.
Mechanical Foundation and Autonomy of the Biz 125 EX
Although the focus of the Biz Kuromi is its visual appeal, the technical foundation follows that of the Biz 125 EX 2025, currently the only engine displacement offered by the line.
The model uses a single-cylinder engine of 123.9 cm³, air-cooled, with an OHC setup of two valves and electronic fuel injection PGM-FI, paired with a semi-automatic four-speed gearbox, without manual clutch operation.
This mechanical setup has been recently updated and, in the Biz 125 2025, produces about 9.5 hp of power and just over 1 kgfm of torque, operating on either gasoline or ethanol in the EX version.
In consumption tests released by the manufacturer and by homologation institutes, the Biz 125 records an average of around 62.8 km/l, with a 5-liter tank.
This results in a theoretical autonomy that exceeds 300 km per fill-up, depending on usage conditions.
In the Biz Kuromi displayed at CCXP, Honda does not announce technical modifications in relation to the Biz 125 EX available at dealerships.
The proposal is to showcase how the same known assembly can receive a completely different visual approach without interfering with characteristics such as fuel economy, ease of riding, and low maintenance.
Why the Biz Was Chosen for the Partnership with Kuromi

The Biz is one of Honda’s most traditional motorcycles in Brazil, with over 25 years in the market and a history of leadership among entry-level models.
Over this period, the model has helped introduce many riders to daily life on two wheels, thanks to the combination of semi-automatic transmission, compact build, and storage space under the seat for small items.
Kuromi, a character from Sanrio, turns 20 years old in 2025 and has gained popularity in communities tied to pop culture, cosplay, and the anime universe.
The character is defined by the contrast between her “cute” appearance and a bolder personality, which has made her a frequent collaborator with fashion, decor, and collectible product brands.
By bringing together these two references – a motorcycle established in the Brazilian market and a character with significant appeal among young audiences – Honda seeks to connect with consumers who navigate between mobility, pop culture, and lifestyle.
The Biz Kuromi serves as a showcase to demonstrate how an urban cub can engage with visual languages of entertainment and fan communities.
Brazilian Development and Official Collaboration with Sanrio
All the development of the concepts presented at CCXP was conducted by the Honda design team in Brazil, from the initial sketches to the final assembly of the motorcycles displayed at the booth.
Sanrio participated in the process validating the use of Kuromi’s image and assessing colors, graphics, and symbols applied to the fairings and accessories.
The work included studies of sticker application on typical surfaces of the Biz EX, defining color contrasts and creating visual signatures that would allow recognition of both the character and the original motorcycle.
The stated intention is to ensure that the essence of both brands appears in a balanced manner.

In addition to the motorcycles, the displayed helmets follow the same partnership logic, repeating colors, icons, and graphic elements linked to Kuromi.
Concept Without Forecast for Sale
Despite strong interest on social media and in specialized sites, Honda emphasizes that the Biz Kuromi presented at CCXP is not a production version.
The two models shown are classified as concepts, used to test design languages and gauge the acceptance of projects linked to pop culture.
According to the brand, the motorcycles serve as a basis for internal product studies, helping to map if there is space for similar collaborations in the future, whether in special series, customization packages, or licensed items, such as helmets and accessories.
The manufacturer is monitoring public reactions and digital impact to evaluate whether it is worthwhile to advance with commercial proposals inspired by the Biz Kuromi.
Although fans already informally refer to the project as “Biz Kuromi 2026,” Honda has not confirmed a name, production, or release date for the Brazilian market. Will the Biz Kuromi make it to stores or remain as an exclusive concept?
